About the Workshop
Researchers are picking up AI tools faster than they’re learning to use them well. This workshop is about the gap between those two things. In 90 minutes you’ll build real workflows for searching the literature and visualising data with AI — and you’ll also find out, firsthand, where those workflows quietly go wrong. You leave with prompts you can use the same week, a clearer picture of what AI tools actually search versus what they miss, and two concrete things to change about how you work.
Prerequisites: follow this workshop from the comfort of your home or office on a laptop or stationary pc. This workshop will also be interactive and you are expected to interact with the other participants, most likely in the English language.
Who is Paul de Roos?
Paul de Roos is a neurologist and movement disorders fellow with a PhD, and an Associate Fellow of the Association for Medical Education in Europe (AMEE). His professional interests focus on neurodegeneration, movement disorders, and Parkinson’s disease. In addition to his clinical and research work as a neurologist, he is also deeply committed to medical education. Beyond the university setting, he leads several educational and pedagogical projects independently and through an NGO he co-founded, including the Leadership Summer School (www.leadershipsummerschool.org).
