We are pleased to announce TBrainBoost Summer School 3.0, taking place 15–19 June 2026 in the coastal town of Piran, Slovenia. This international summer school will focus on neurorehabilitation, digital health, and innovation, bringing together leading researchers, clinicians, and industry experts working at the intersection of brain, body, and technology.

The 2026 edition marks the 3th consecutive TBrainBoost summer school, building on a strong tradition of high-level scientific content, international participation, and an engaging social programme.

What to Expect

Participants will take part in TEDx-style lectures, hands-on workshops, small group projects, career development sessions, and expert-led discussions — all set against the backdrop of the Mediterranean coast. The programme is designed for BSc, MSc, and PhD students as well as early-career researchers and clinicians from fields including kinesiology, physiotherapy, neuroscience, biomedical engineering, digital health, and related disciplines.

How to Apply

We will select up to 20 on-site participants based on their application. Participation for selected students is free of charge.

Your application includes a structured profile and three short-answer questions (80–150 words each). No full CV or traditional motivation letter is required.

Accommodation & Venue

Accommodation is arranged at the Marine Biology Station Piran, where the lectures will also take place. Guests will stay in twin-bed rooms, available at a very affordable rate from €20 per person per night. Participants are responsible for covering their own travel costs and accomodation costs. The lectures are free of registration fees.

The event takes place near the charming coastal town of Piran, one of the most picturesque and historic towns in the region. With its narrow cobblestone streets, Venetian architecture, and stunning sea views, Piran offers the perfect blend of culture and inspiration. Participants will have the chance to explore its vibrant old town, enjoy local cuisine, and experience the relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere after the sessions.

Beyond its scientific programme, TBrainBoost offers a unique environment for exchange and networking — from structured classroom discussions to informal idea-sharing by the Mediterranean Sea.
