ZRS Koper hosted Daniel Marshall, an expert in knowledge and technology transfer from the University of Colorado Boulder, one of the most advanced universities in this field in the USA.

Daniel Marshall presented the specifics of the innovation environment in the USA at national, state and university level, discussed the possibilities of innovation funding in the USA and highlighted the most important support activities for researchers to advance innovation towards the market.

As researchers at ZRS Koper are increasingly aware of the importance of knowledge transfer to industry and intellectual property management, the visit provided an excellent opportunity for exchanging views and experiences. The good practices presented by the expert will help participants identify useful guidelines for establishing an Academia Contact Point, one of the key upcoming activities of the TBrainBoost project.
