On December 11, 2024, the Entrepreneurial Mindset workshop, led by Dr. Anja Weidenmüller and Christine Ludwig from University of Konstanz, brought together an enthusiastic group of participants. Conducted as part of the TBrainBoost project, this engaging online session focused on fostering interdisciplinary skills and promoting innovation at the intersection of science and entrepreneurship.
The core aim of the workshop was to encourage participants to recognize and develop transferable skills essential for excelling in both research and entrepreneurship. Through a combination of individual reflection and collaborative group exercises, participants explored the overlap between scientific and entrepreneurial competencies. They gained valuable insights into teamwork dynamics, emphasizing collaboration and constructive feedback as vital components of professional success.
Using the online app Mural, the session delivered hands-on activities that fostered actionable learning outcomes. This approach ensured a dynamic and interactive experience, allowing participants to apply concepts in real-time. Facilitators guided attendees in identifying their existing skills, cultivated through academic and professional experiences, and inspired them to envision how these skills could be leveraged in entrepreneurial contexts.
The workshop concluded with a reinforced understanding of how transferable skills can serve as a foundation for success in both research and entrepreneurship. Participants left with valuable tools and insights for their personal and professional growth, thanks to the expert guidance of Dr. Weidenmüller and Christine Ludwig.
This session was an excellent step toward fostering interdisciplinary innovation and collaboration, equipping individuals to navigate and contribute to both scientific and entrepreneurial landscapes with confidence.
