On January 30, 2025, the TBrainBoost project was presented by Kevin De Pauw (VUB, Belgium) at the Research and Innovation for the EU Silver Economy workshop in Brussels. The event, organized by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Research and Innovation, gathered key projects contributing to the development of the Silver Economy.

The Silver Economy, as defined by our consortium, addresses both the challenges and opportunities of aging populations, focusing on innovations and services that enhance the quality of life for older adults. TBrainBoost contributes to this vision by facilitating knowledge transfer between academia and industry, fostering innovation, and supporting the development of startups in this sector—with a goal of seeing at least two startups pitch ideas in this field.
Beyond its impact on the Silver Economy, TBrainBoost strengthens institutions as innovation hubs, ensuring long-term advancements that extend beyond the project’s direct scope. Through strategic collaboration and knowledge-sharing, the project supports broader EU policies on sustainability, resilience, and digital transformation.
Stay tuned for more updates as TBrainBoost continues to drive innovation in brain research and aging!
